What we collect, what we don't, and what we'll never sell.

What we collect

When you call us, schedule online, or submit a contact form, we collect your name, address, phone, email, and the details of your service request. When you pay, we collect billing information through our payment processor (Stripe). We log your IP address when you visit this website, like every other website on the internet.

What we do with it

We use your information to deliver service, send you appointment reminders, process payments, and contact you about warranty work. We send a quarterly email newsletter (you can unsubscribe with one click). That's it.

What we will never do

We will never sell your information. We will never trade it. We will never share it with lead-gen services. We don't sell our customer list and we don't share your data with our suppliers. The only exceptions are: (1) our payment processor, (2) the manufacturer of equipment you bought from us (for warranty registration only), (3) the Google and Meta advertising measurement described under Cookies below, and (4) any court order.

Cookies and ad measurement

We load Google and Meta advertising tools through Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics counts visitors and tells us which pages get read. Google Ads conversion measurement and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) tell us which of our ads led to a call or a form submission, so we know what our advertising is actually doing. They set cookies, including a DoubleClick cookie from Google and an _fbp cookie from Meta, used to connect an ad you saw earlier to a later visit here. We don't fingerprint visitors.

What we send to Google and Meta

When you submit a form, we send Google and Meta a scrambled (SHA-256 hashed) version of your email address and phone number. Hashing is one-way and happens in your browser before anything is sent: they receive a string of characters, never your actual email or phone. They can only match it to you if they already have the same email or phone on file from your own account with them. We do not send your name, your address, or anything you typed into the message box. If you'd rather not have this happen at all, call us at (386) 252-1878 instead of using the form.

Your rights

You can email service@koontzair.com any time and ask us to delete your information from our database. We'll do it within 30 days, no questions asked. If you're a California, Virginia, or Colorado resident, you have additional rights under your state privacy law — same email gets you those.
