When a furnace makes sense in Florida
Most Volusia County homes run heat pumps because we don't have widespread natural gas distribution. But if your block already has a gas main and your home is plumbed for it, a high-efficiency furnace can be the right answer — especially for older homes with existing gas runs, or commercial buildings where the load justifies it.
What we install
Carrier and Trane primarily, both at 95+ AFUE. We don't install brands we wouldn't put in our own homes, and we don't oversize furnaces — an oversized furnace short-cycles, never warms the house evenly, and dies young.
